Please join us for a free public talk by local author and historian Paul Brueske. He will discuss his book, The Last Siege: The Mobile Campaign, Alabama 1865. This book is the result of many years of research and explores the often overlooked last siege of the war, the Mobile Campaign, which was crucial to securing a complete victory and the final surrender of the last Confederate force east of the Mississippi River.
